The Bayswater Bistro, open daily from 11am til 9pm, is the perfect dining environment for all types of occasions. Whether you are entertaining clients, friends and family or simply want to grab a quick meal over lunch or dinner, you can’t go past The Bayswater.

The Bayswater Bistro offers a relaxed and casual opportunity to enjoy a meal with fresh local seafood, an extensive list of gourmet pizzas and typical pub fair but done with flare! Complimented by a friendly, relaxed environment and the balconies overlook the scenic Hervey Bay waters and the historic Urangan Pier.

With executive chef Matthew O’Brien at the helm, Bayswater Bistro & Bar focuses on masterfully created modern Australian dishes with an emphasis on seafood, fresh local produce, seasonal fare and value for money. Matthew worked in the Hunter’s finest restaurants and catered for local food and wine heavyweights before following his mentor to Newcastle for his first exposure to French cuisine – with the partnership resulting in multiple awards. It was Matthew’s passion for seafood which led him to Hervey Bay, where he served as head chef at a number of local restaurants before taking the top job at Bayswater
