The Bayswater is a unique and versatile venue that can offer multiple options to suite your requirements. There are various areas and rooms to choose from. We can provide you with a cocktail style reception, fully seated lunch or dinners, spectacular buffets, alternate serve menus, set courses, platters, themed events or a full package including everything you can think of!

The Bayswater is licensed to serve alcohol until midnight. This may be extended by prior arrangement with a minimum of 45 days notice. Liquor application fees and admin charges will also apply.

The Bistro

Seating up to 180 people comfortably, The Bayswater Bistro boasts indoor and outdoor seating and overlooks the beautiful waters of Hervey Bay and the Urangan Pier.

Partial hire is also available for groups under 80 people.

There is no hire fee for the exclusive use of the Bistro area, however there is a minimum spend required.

The Bayswater Bar

Adjoining the Bistro, the Bayswater Bar provides a relaxed, casual atmosphere for those that would prefer a less formal wedding reception. Partial hire is available without cost for stand up canapés and cocktail style functions. The Bar also boasts a spacious veranda and overlooks the beach and the iconic Urangan Pier.

The Bar is also a perfect option for your guests to have pre-dinner drinks, sit and relax while you are getting your photos done.

The Pool Bar Terrace

Fondly known as the Corona Bar.

Ideal for more casual sunset dinners and stand up cocktail parties, the Pool Bar Terrace has its own bar facilities and the same spectacular views as the Bistro; with seating for up to 30 guests and up to 80 guests standing. Unfortunately the Pool Bar Terrace is not covered and it is open to the weather elements so a back up option may have to be reserved in the Alcove Function Room or the front deck.

The Alcove

Our exclusive function room located adjacent to the Bayswater Bar is private and enclosed. The Alcove can be setup and themed to your requirements, from a stand up cocktail style function of 80 guests to a formal sit down dinner up to 60 guests. The room also has the facility to host your own exclusive entertainment.

Wet Weather Options

Having your ceremony on the beach or open to the weather elements? The Bayswater front deck can be used as your wet weather option at an additional cost. We can implement your “back up plan” with 2 hours notice on the day. – just in case!

Peppers Pier Resort

Charlton or Half Ballroom

(Charlton & Hibiscus)
This spacious and fully enclosed ballroom can cater for up to 160 guests on banquet tables of 10, plus a Bridal Table and inbuilt dance floor. The Ballroom can also be divided into two smaller venues (Charlton Room and Hibiscus Room) for smaller receptions.

Fraser Room

An intimate venue ideally suited to cocktail receptions for up to 50 guests or 40 seated. The Fraser Room offers natural lighting and a private outdoor terrace leading onto the pool deck.

Penthouse

Peppers Pier Resort has a selection of Penthouses each with expansive private roof-tops looking out over the pristine waters of Hervey Bay. The roof-tops can accommodate ceremonies with up to 60 guests. This venue must be booked for two nights’ accommodation and incurs an additional fee to cover set-up, service and breakdown, dependant on your requirements.
